Do you still love seeing things hand written? I do!
I love receiving love notes stuck to the fridge, I pounce on snail mail and I often find myself pouring over stacks of old journals stuffed full of notes from mentorships, conferences, morning pages and old poems and writing notes… And I have a pile of fresh notebooks just waiting to be filled.
So when this little beauty arrived from Jane Washington (one of my favorite authors-to-stalk) in the mail, I knew I had to find a special project for it.

As an indie author or any freelance soul, it’s easy to lose sight of the woods for the trees. You can get lost in the endless list of to do’s for the business side of things and the continual press to *write more words* (or create more stuff). If you’re not careful, I’ve noticed, you can completely forget to take a moment to notice the little beautiful miracles along the way.

So, inspired by a friend on IG, I’ve started a new series of hand-written love notes to myself… (they sort of double as mini book teasers) journaling my favorite lines from my WIP as a way to celebrate dancing with the muse.
What do you do to celebrate your writing / moments of creativity?
With love,
M.S.
